What makes one person a victim and
someone else not? That question, and others, will be resolved as the
participants learn common sense strategies, and develop their intuitive
awareness. Each of the interactive workshops is informative and fun as the
students gain the knowledge to be safe and secure in today's world. No martial
arts background is needed to learn the awareness and safety strategies that
Gerri presents to the audience. Everyone gets to roll-play common situations
that could occur. Verbal and physical confrontations are addressed as well.
Seminars can be scheduled for schools, Scout Troops, Senior Centers, various
community forums, and work centers.

well. The seminar teaches children what to do in the event of a possible
abduction. Using non-threatening techniques, children have the opportunity to
role-play with an instructor realistc scenarios and gain practical and
effective strategies to maintain personal safety. Parents are encouraged to
stay and observe the child's workshop.
Parents and caregivers can schedule a separate presentation that discusses
