Directed to women ages 17 and
over, the Women's Street Survial program is designed to make women more aware
of an attack situation and how to avoid confrontation. Women learn commonsense
methods of surviving an attempted mugging, rape, abduction, etc. This is an interactive seminar in which participants role-play and learn to avoid a confrontation, take control, and survive. "Gore," a fully padded instructor, confonts the student and real-life scenarios are played out. Former particpants in the program have stated that they developed confidence and felt more prepared to defend themselves if necessary. To learn more about the Women's Street Survival Program or to enroll in a seminar or schedule a seminar for your group, you can contact Gerri Willever by E-Mail or call the American Karate Institute at (609)890-3220. |
